15 Days /14 Night

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Kigali. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and get settled in.

Day 2-4: Akagera National Park

After breakfast, drive to Akagera National Park, the largest national park in Rwanda. You’ll spend the next three days exploring the park on game drives, boat trips, and nature walks, where you’ll have the chance to see the big five game, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos.

Day 5-7: Nyungwe Forest National Park

Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park, one of the largest and oldest rainforests in Africa. You’ll spend the next three days exploring the park on guided treks to see chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and other primates. You can also enjoy birdwatching, hiking, and nature walks.

Day 8-10: Gishwati-Mukura National Park

Drive to Gishwati-Mukura National Park, a newly established park known for its bamboo forests and various primate species. You’ll spend the next three days exploring the park on guided treks and birdwatching tours.

Day 11-13: Volcanoes National Park

Head to Volcanoes National Park, located in the Virunga Mountains, home to over a third of the world’s mountain gorillas. You’ll spend the next three days trekking through the park to see the gorillas and other wildlife, such as golden monkeys and various bird species.

Day 14: Kigali

Drive back to Kigali and spend the day exploring the city’s markets and cultural sites. You can visit the Genocide Memorial Center and other historical landmarks, as well as engage in cultural activities like traditional dance performances.

Day 15: Departure

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
