Great Uganda Safari

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your tour guide who will transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the town of Entebbe and visit some of its attractions, such as the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, the botanical gardens, or the local markets. Overnight stay in Entebbe.
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park, which is Uganda’s largest and oldest national park. During your three days in the park, you will enjoy game drives in search of the “big five” (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos) as well as other wildlife such as giraffes, antelopes, and warthogs. You will also visit the top of the Murchison Falls, where the Nile River plunges 43 meters down a narrow gorge, and take a hike down to the bottom of the falls. Other optional activities include a boat safari on the Nile River, a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, or a community walk to meet the locals. Overnight stay at a lodge in Murchison Falls National Park.
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is home to a wide variety of wildlife and habitats, including savannah grasslands, forests, wetlands, and lakes. During your three days in the park, you will enjoy game drives to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and various antelopes, as well as a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, which connects two of the park’s lakes and is a popular spot for bird watching. You will also visit the Ishasha sector, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, and take a community walk to learn about the traditional way of life of the local people. Overnight stay at a lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is one of the last remaining habitats of the endangered mountain gorilla. During your three days in the park, you will trek through the dense forest to observe a family of gorillas in their natural habitat. The trek can be strenuous, but the experience of coming face to face with these magnificent creatures is truly unforgettable. You will also have the opportunity to take part in other activities, such as nature walks, bird watching, or a visit to the local Batwa community. Overnight stay at a lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, which is known for its high concentration of primates, including chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys. During your three days in the park, you will trek through the forest in search of chimpanzees and other primates, and you may also have the chance to participate in a habituation experience, where you spend an extended period of time with a chimpanzee family to observe their behavior. Other optional activities include a visit to the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can see a variety of bird species and other wildlife, or a community walk to learn about the local culture. Overnight stay at a lodge in Kibale National Park.
After breakfast, depart for Entebbe for your final night in Uganda. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the town.
