Terms and Conditions

  1. Booking and Reservations:
    • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to confirm a booking, payable within 7 days of reservation.
    • Final Payment: The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the safari start date. For bookings within 30 days of the start date, full payment is required at booking.
  2. Pricing:
    • Quoted Prices: Prices are in USD and include all items in the provided quotation. Prices may change due to genuine circumstances, such as significant fuel price increases. Any changes will be discussed with our guests to reach a final decision.
  3. Health and Safety:
    • Vaccinations: Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory for travel to any African country. Guests are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate vaccinations and medical precautions for travel to Africa.
    • Medical Emergencies: Jaws Africa Wildlife Safaris is not liable for any medical emergencies or health issues that arise during the safari. Guests are advised to carry their medical supplies and medications.
    • Safety: Follow all safety instructions provided by guides and staff to ensure a safe experience.
  4. Travel Insurance:
    • Comprehensive travel insurance is highly recommended to cover personal accidents, medical expenses, repatriation, flight cancellations, and trip cancellations. Proof of insurance is not mandatory but is strongly advised.
  5. Liability:
    • Responsibility: Jaws Africa Wildlife Safaris is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by factors beyond our control, including natural disasters, accidents, changes in government policies, or flight issues.
    • Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for the quality of third-party services availed by guests that are beyond our provided itinerary.
  6. Flight Cancellations and Delays:
    • Jaws Africa Wildlife Safaris is not responsible for flight cancellations or delays. If a safari is canceled due to flight issues, no refunds or extensions will be provided. Comprehensive travel insurance should cover such events.
  7. Changes to Itinerary:
    • Adjustments: We reserve the right to make adjustments to the safari itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances or for the safety and well-being of our guests.
    • Pricing Changes: In case of genuine circumstances like a significant increase in fuel prices, we reserve the right to adjust the pricing. Any changes will be discussed with the client to reach a final decision while ensuring the overall safari experience remains unaffected.
    • Alternative Arrangements: If changes are necessary, we will endeavor to provide alternative arrangements of similar standard and cost.
  8. Guest Responsibilities:
    • Documents: Guests must ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents.
    • Conduct: Follow instructions from guides and staff strictly. Misbehavior or park policy violations may lead to safari cancellation without refund. Actions against animals or park properties may also result in legal procedures.
    • Conservation: Guests are expected to respect conservation efforts and not engage in any activities that harm the environment, animals, or park properties.
  9. Commitment to Quality:
    • Jaws Africa Wildlife Safaris is dedicated to delivering the best in class experience to all our guests. We are available to support you at any point during your safari to ensure your journey is enjoyable and memorable.

Payment Policy

  1. Payment Methods:
    • Payments can be made via bank transfer or secure online payment platforms. All payments must be made in USD, unless otherwise agreed upon. If payments are made in other currencies, the current conversion rate will be applied, and any transfer charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
  2. Failure to Pay:
    • If the final payment is not received by the due date, Jaws Africa Wildlife Safaris reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. Any costs incurred due to payment default, including legal fees, are the client’s responsibility.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellation by Client:
    • Notice: Cancellations must be received in writing.
    • Charges:
      • More than 45 days before the safari start date: 30% of the total safari cost.
      • 20-40 days before the safari start date: 50% of the total safari cost.
      • Less than 20 days before the safari start date: 100% of the total safari cost.
  2. Cancellation by Jaws Africa Wildlife Safaris:
    • Refund: If we cancel the safari, a full refund will be provided, except in cases of guest misconduct, where no refund will be given.
  3. Refunds:
    • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation notice. No refunds for unused portions of the safari once it has commenced.
